Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia No. 22 Tahun 2025 tentang Kewenangan Penerbitan Persetujuan Lingkungan (Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 22 of 2025 concerning The Authority to Issue Environmental Approvals)
Regulates environmental permits (AMDAL/UKL-UPL) that are predominantly issued at regional (district/city) levels, based on location and business complexity, in accordance with Government Regulation 28/2021.

Restructures the import governance of hazardous and toxic materials (B3) and HFCs, with adjusted schedules and new flexibility schemes; replacing the old regulations due to institutional changes within the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Environmental Management Agency (BPLH). This regulation regulates import permits, quotas, and restrictions on ODS/HFCs, and adjusts the schedules and new flexibility schemes for their control, in line with the new division of authority between the Minister of Environment and the Head of the Environmental Control Agency.
